While you can always land on a solid surface to eliminate the inertia associated with thrusting through space, going on solid ground severely limits your tactical options and makes you easier to spot.

All maps center around an orbital installation of some sort, with a mess of debris to provide cover. Floating in space and popping up to get a quick shot at the opposition is the default, but nifty gadgets like the grappling hook and EMP device add some tactical wrinkles.

in the armory Limit Feels a lot more realistic than what you’ll find in your typical science-fiction shooter. Weapons lean more towards practicality, eschewing lasers and directed energy weapons for recognizable guns that have been adapted to operate in zero gravity.

Despite the supernatural setting, the world of Limit Still feels grounded thanks to lots of little touches that nail the setting. For example, many weapons are painted white because a matte black weapon will inevitably melt in direct sunlight. These touches aren’t just aesthetic; The way sound travels (or doesn’t travel) in space forces you to be alert to your surroundings, and makes it very easy to sneak up on opponents.
