Microsoft just announced an Xbox Series X bundle that should be Way Actually more attractive than that. It’s bundling high-end consoles with Blizzard diablo 4, and the bundle will ship on June 6th (the game’s launch day) for $559.99. Pre-orders are open now on the Microsoft Store.
The most attractive part of this package is that it’s $10 cheaper than buying the console and game separately. But only that much. Aside from getting some in-game cosmetics, the incentive to buy this bundle is, sadly, very little. One might assume that Microsoft might be trying a little harder to impress people with a custom-designed Xbox à la Nintendo’s new tears of the kingdomDriven OLED Switch.
The company should have at least outfitted it with red LEDs and a custom sound effect. diablo 4 There are a lot of design touchpoints that would translate well as a limited edition. Perhaps this kind of collaboration between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard might seem questionable to competitors during Microsoft’s pending acquisition of the publisher, but who am I to say?

Either way, it’s a pretty lazy bundle, and it doesn’t make sense to pre-order and wait two months to get a console that you can easily get through multiple retailers. Now, Definitely a long wait to save $10.
It’s possible you can save even more by avoiding this bundle, as Verizon has discounted this console by $50 in the past, allowing you to spend more money on the best Xbox Series X accessories. Who’s to say if this deal will ever happen again, but console discounts are becoming more and more common these days. Through mid-April, with Sony’s PlayStation 5 bundle god of war ragnarok Many stores have a $50 discount, essentially reducing the cost of the bundled game to just $10. Personally, I’m open to seeing even more temporary cost-cutting on hardware through 2023.
